| DC Poonch chairs joint meeting of officers, PRs | | |
POONCH: Development Commissioner Poonch, Mr Sajjad Ahmed Khan, today reviewed the development activities and implementation of schemes of Rural Development Department here at a joint meeting of the officers and Panchayat Representatives. Objective of the meeting was to discuss problems and remove bottlenecks being confronted by Panchayats in the effective implementation of development schemes on the ground and to project these at the district development board meeting scheduled on 26 of the current month. ACD Mr Nazir Ahmed Sheikh, CPO Mr .Iqbal Ahmed, BDOs besides panchs and srapanchs of the district attended the meeting. The meeting also decided to project various important issues regarding the development of rural areas at the board meeting. The DC impressed upon the rural development officer and sarpanchs to work in co-ordination and ensure the people in the implementation of development schemes so that benefits percolate down on the ground. |
