Govt’s wrong policies increasing miseries of common masses: Balbir

Jammu: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today flayed Omar Abdullah led coalition regime for its failure to solve day today problems of the common masses. Party said that miseries of the people have increased manifold after formation of National Conference led regime in the State.
Addressing a function to welcome large number of people from Kastigarh, who joined PDP here today, general secretary of PDP Thakur Balbir Singh said that during last more nearly five year situation in the State has been deteriorating because Omar Abdullah led government was pursuing anti-people policies. He leader said that the State has been plunged into unprecedented crises due to wrong policies of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who has failed to connect himself with the common masses. He said since its formation this regime has done nothing to solve problems of the people. “What to say to mitigating woes of the masses, this regime has further compounded miseries of the people due to its wrong policies”, he pointed out.
PDP leader said that coalition regime was formed without any programme and policy and instead of solving basic problems of the common masses, leaders of National Conference have been befooling the people by making false promises
Criticizing Omar Abdullah led coalition regime for its failure to solve problems of the common masses, he said that this regime has failed to bring transparency and accountability in the governance. Party leader observed that legalizing corruption and nepotism was the only noticeable achievement of this government.
District president of PDP Jammu rural Thakur Suram Singh also addressed the meeting. P rominent among those who joined PDP included Krishan Singh Bhau, Haji Mohd Ibrahim, Sham Lal, Bhagat, Roop Chnad Bhagat, Jagat Ram Bhagat, Prithi Raj, Mohd Hanif Lone, Fateh Mohd, Abdul Latif Madda, Mohd Sharif, Indham Hussain,Farqa Ahmed, Mohd Hamid, Girdhari Lal Bhagat, Farooq Ahmed Naik, Ghulam Rasool Hajam, Ajaz Ahmed Mir and others.
