KISHTWAR, July 25 : The arrangements for Independence Day celebration function were today finalized here at a meeting of officers of line departments with the Additional Deputy Commissioner, R K Shavan in the chair.
All the district and sectoral officers, including Addl SP, Tehsildar, AD planning, DFO, AD handicrafts, AD Employment, X En PHE, X En PDD , AD Fire Services, DIO, Distt Sports Officer, cultural officer, ALC BDO's of different blocks, besides the representatives of various schools, Army and SSB attended the meeting. In the meeting it was decided that the Independence Day function will be held at the historic Chowgan ground of Kishtwar. The PHE department was assigned the task of barricading the venue and making available clean drinking water.
The arrangements regarding security, law and order, public address system, march past, sanitation and cultural programmes were also finalized.
The ADC enjoined upon all the officers to work in close coordination and ensure full participation in the event. |
