SRINAGFAR : The market checking of food sale establishments of Pampore town was conducted by a joint team of Food Safety and Standards, Pulwama and Municipal Committee, Pampore here today. The team was headed by Food Safety Officer, Pampore. During the market checking 50 Kgs of rotten vegetables and fruits were destroyed on spot. An amount of Rs. 3,600/- was recovered as fine from erring traders. Meanwhile, the market checking squad headed by Assistant Director, CA&PD conducted market checking at Bemina, Tengpora, Firdousabad, Batmaloo, Zakura Crossing, Meerak Shah Colony, Rainawari etc. of Srinagar city here today. During the market checking, 47 business establishments were inspected and an amount of Rs. 11,900/- has been recovered as fine from 16 erring shopkeepers for violation of Essential Commodities Act, 1955. |
