JAMMU, July 31: Jammu Gladiators today suffered a humiliating 65 runs defeat in the hands of Cempac Stars in the J&K Corporate Premier League (JKCPL) underway at MA Stadium, here.
Batting first, after winning the toss, Cempac Stars set a target of 131 runs for seven, which, in reply, Jamboo Gladiators could not chase and bowed out for 65 runs in 18.1 overs.
Jatin and Nasir were main contributors to the score with 31 and 30 runs respectively. From Jamboo Gladiators, Raman took two wickets, followed by Kuldeep, Somay, Sahil and Ram Dayal, who shared apiece each. Later, Gladiators lost all their wickets for 65 runs. Parveen remained highest scorer with 30 runs. From Cempac Stars, Waseem, Rafiq and Mehraj Owaid took two wickets each. |
