| Paryavaran Mitra Programme organized | | | DODA, July 31: In order to create awareness on environment, NEAC/Paryavaran Mitra Programme was organized a rally was also taken out today at Government Middle School Banzal.
Principal HSS Kastigarh Swaran Singh was the chief guest who also flagged off the rally and inaugurated the NEAC/Paryavaran Mitra Programme while Chander Parkash Co-ordinator Paryavaran Mitra was guest of honour on the occasion. Students as well as the local peoples of the area attended the programme.
Co-coordinator Paryavaran Mitra programme, CP Thakur delivered the lecture on the theme "Biodiversity Conservation" He asked the students to conserve the rich flora and fauna of the area and plant more and more trees.
He stressed upon afforestration. In his address, Principal HSS Kastigarh impressed upon the people of the region to conserve biodiversity / forests for maintaining ecological balance and green cover of the area. |
