| PSC ignores true representatives of KP migrants | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 31: Expressing its grave concern for ignoring true representatives of Kashmiri Pandit (KP) migrant community in the meeting of Parliamentary Standing Committee (PSC) for Home Affairs, the Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K condemned the callous attitude of the Central as well as State Government.
Addressing a joint meeting JTC and SKF, Shadi Lal Pandita said that those members of the Kashmiri Pandit community who are unaware of problems of KPs were invited while representatives of a large number of Kashmiri Pandits putting up at Jagti were ignored for the meeting.
Though the leaders of both the committees having been struggling for restoring all basic amenities to this Migrant community but it is unfortunate that the representatives of these committees have been ignored for attending the Parliamentary Standing Committee meeting, he added. |
