Tiny Tots HSS celebrates World Sparrow Day 3/20/2014 10:47:11 PM Jammu, Mar 20: Tiny Tots Hr Sec School today celebrated World Sparrow Day in the school premises today. The days proceedings started with a painting competition with the theme of Save sparrows. After the competition O P Sharma, Chief Conservator Forests (Eco tourism) spoke to the student of the school about sparrows. He also made the students aware of the distinguishing features of various birds found in Jammu and took the students for a walk in the surrounding areas showing them how to recognise various species of birds. He also talked to the student about Dr Salim Ali and his various works on birds of India and Pakistan.
