Sudden hike in JU hostel fee irks ABVP activists, lodges protest 3/20/2014 11:54:29 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 20 : Irked over the sudden and unprecedented hike in hostel fee of Jammu University, activists of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu University wing lodged a protest within the campus demanding immediate intervention of Vice-Chancellor of the varsity to revoke the said decision. As per a release issued by the ABVP activists, University of Jammu had increased the hostel charges by up to 200% and total hostel fee up to 85%. Ashwani Sharma, President ABVP (JU Wing) presented some documents to Early Times wherein the University administration has shown a soft corner towards some students regarding the fee while other are being charged exorbitantly which is difficult to digest.Number of other activists of the wing who were accompanying Sharma demanded roll back of the said decision and warned that if it (administration) fails to revoke the decision strong battle will be fought against the varsity authorities.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
