Congress playing second fiddle to separatist-friendly parties just to stay in power: Dr Jitendra

Kathua, Mar 20: Continuing with his whirlwind election campaign, BJP candidate for Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha constituency, Dr Jitendra Singh today held as many as 21 election meetings while touring through Kathua Kandi villages.
In a unique activity of campaign was the ceremony of weighing Dr Jitendra Singh in "Laddoos" by his supporters and the BJP Karyakartas. Speaking at these meetings, Dr Jitendra Singh blamed the Congress-led government for poor condition of roads and slow implementation of Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) which was initiated during the tenure of Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee. He said if BJP is voted, it would expedite work under PMGSY within one year.
Referring to water scarcity in the Kandi area, Dr Singh said, it is a shame that even after so many years of independence, there is no tube well in the area and said, even the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of an MP is sufficient to install tube-wells in the area. "To resovle problem of water scarcity will be his top priority, he added.
Dr Singh said, ten years of NC-Congress rule had given nothing to this region except an avoidable Amarnath land row and various other scams.
Referring to people's craving for change, Dr Jitendra Singh said, Narendra Modi is the only option before the voter to get rid of mis-governance, corruption and dynasty rule perpetuated by the Congress party. In the State of Jammu & Kashmir he said, Congress was playing a second fiddle to separatist-friendly parties simply to stay in power and continue being part of an unholy coalition.
BJP district Kathua President Advocate Vijay Sharma,Vice President Prem Nath Dogra,Gen Secretaries Raghunandan Pathania and Gopal Mahajan, Treasurer Tony,Dr Narinder Singh, different Mandal Presidents and several other BJP activists joined the election campaign.
