Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 20: Addressing a series of public meetings during his day long extensive tour of Gurha Singhu, Shamachak, Kalyanpur, Kanachak, Lalyal, Lalyal Camp and Godla areas of Marh Assembly constituency, BJP candidate Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency & State President Jugal Kishore Sharma termed the 10 year rule of Congress-led UPA and Congress-NC coalition in J&K as black chapters.
He said that while UPA created records in corruption, scams and scandals, promoted the cause of a handful of big business houses and added to the woes of a common citizen by price rise, here in J&K the coalition failed on all fronts. Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the state's coalition has been giving step-motherly treatment to the assembly constituencies represented by BJP in particular. He said that the people of Marh have been complaining of extending benefits of various welfare scheme to the genuinely deserving families. He expressed hope that the suffering people will convert their anger and resentment into votes to reject Congress candidate and support overwhelmingly in favour of BJP. Local MLA Sukhnandan Kumar said that the people in entire constituency are waiting for the polling day to show Congress and NC that the strength of voters can bring change and it is witnessed that BJP will take lead in the election.
