Jammu, May 9: Yamini Culture Society (YCS) today elected its office bearers and Gautam Singh was elected as its president in meeting held at its head quarter. Janak Raj Sharma President, MJDCI, Jammu and Hitesh Badyal, President, Nirvana Academy, Jammu were the returning Officers. In which Gautam Singh, Naveen Sudan, Subash Jamwal, Nikhil Singh and Ralwant Raj were unanimously elected as President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Office cum Publicity Secretary and Treasurer cum Cashier respectively. While Shishu Pal Khajuria and Sapna Sharma were elected as Advisors by the Executive Body Members of the Society.
Members of the YCS took part in the election procedure whole heartily. The outgoing executive body members congratulated the newly elected executive body members and hoped that newly elected team will work whole heartily for the betterment of the YCS.
Speaking on the occasion Gautam Singh, newly elected President of YCS thanked all the Executive body members, members and Returning/Experts Officers for their kind co-operation and also promised to work with full dedication to achieve the targets. He also promised that YCS will continue its activities to eradicate the social evils like un-touch ability, dowry system, child labour, early child marriages, save the girl child, save the trees- save the earth etc. through cultural/ motivational activities. YCS will continue its cultural activities by staging plays, musical programmes, debates, symposiums, Kavi Goshties, competitions etc. Subash Singh Jamwal General Secretary also thanked the members who showed their trust in him. |
