Jammu, May 9 : After 22 days long strike over the suspension of SHO Gandhi Nagar and two others for manhandling with Advocate, J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu called of their Strike following the late night suspension of allegedly erring officials by the Department of Home J&K.
J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu decided to resume work from May 12, 2014 on Monday as the members of the association will abstain from appearance in the courts on Saturday 10th of May 2014 as a mark of respect on the untimely demise of a senior member of the JKHCBAJ, Jagmohan Razdan.
Today the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association convened a General House meeting which was attended by the majority of Lawyers wherein President of the JKHCBAJ Senior Advocate M K Bhardwaj apprised the bar members of the suspension of the three errant police officials of Gandhi Nagar Police Station.
The General House of the JKHCBA with one voice decided to call off the 22 days long agitation, however the members of the association also were informed that BAJ will abstain from appearance in the courts on Saturday 10th of May 2014 as a mark of respect on the untimely demise of a senior member of the JKHCBA, Jagmohan Razdan. Members also observed two minutes silence to pay homage to the departed soul.
