RS Pura, May 31: Bharatya Janta Party (BJP) R S Pura today staged a protest against the Power Development Department (PDD) outside the Office of Tehsildar R S Pura and later submitted memorandum in this regard to the Tehsildar R S Pura.
Amid slogan against the PDD, the protestors led by Dr Gagan Bhagat alleged that unscheduled and prolonged power cuts are affecting normal life in the border town. After staging protest a delegation of BJP activists accompanying Dr Gagan Bhagat also submitted memorandum to the Tehsildars R S Pura, who assured the delegation to take up matter with concerned authorities.
Prominent persons who participated in this protest were BJP District President Satpal, Sardar Harbajan Singh Pammi, Avtar Singh, Brijesh Rana, Lucky Chabra, Shiv Bali, Akash Chopra, Prince Chabra, Inder Sudan, Jagdev Toofani and others. |
