| Four gamblers held with Rs 2100 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 31: Arnia police today arrested four gamblers alongwith Rs 2100 as stake money and playing cards, police said.
The accused have been identified namely as Kasturi Lal, Randhu Ram both from W-13 Arnia, Raj Kumar of W-4 Arnia and Sone Lal of W-9 Arnia.
Police sources said that acting on specific information party led by Inspector Kulbir Choudhary, SHO Arnia raided an place at Treva Chowk and arrested four persons while gambling along with stake money Rs 2100 and playing cards from the spot.
A case under section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Arnia Police Station. |
