Hotel Inferno: GMC&H authorities promptly reacted to emergency

Jammu, May 31: Acting swiftly the authorities at Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu made emergency preparedness to meet the eventuality at midnight within twinkling of an eye when reports came in about the fire incident at a Hotel at Bus Stand.
Hospital sources said, "The emergency teams were alerted including consultants soon after the information about the fire incident was received by the hospital management.' "Emergency staff and medicines especially needed to treat burn injuries were made available in ample at GMC&H Emergency besides ensuring empty beds so as to check any mess in case any major tragedy," sources said, further adding, " the prompt response from the medics and paramedical staff to the midnight emergency helped injured to get respite from their pain and agony.
For inept a major midnight fire left four person dead and atlaesat 10 others sustaining burn injuries when a fire broke out at Hotel Neelam at Bus Stand Jammu at 0230 hrs on Saturday.
