| Gujarat police lands in Jammu to question Asaram's aide | | Asaram Bapu Ashram Row | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 31: Gujarat Police today landed in Jammu to question the Asaram's aide as a part of investigation of alleged sexual assault on a girl by Asaram Bapu in Surat. Police sources said, a team of Gujarat Police led by AS Patel reached in Jammu and questioned the aides of Asaram at Bhagwati Nagar in connection with Asaram's case in Surat. "The main aide of Asaram namely Bhola Nath was also questioned by the police till last reports, poured in, sources said. Pertinently, the Spiritual leader Asaram Bapu along with his son and some of aides were booked by police in different states for their alleged involvement sexual assault and girl trafficking. Gujarat Police have registered case against religious seer after two sisters in Gujarat accused Asaram Bapu and his son, Narayan Sai, of molesting them at their ashram last year. "During the course of investigation the Gujarat police today landed in the winter capital to further probe the case by questioning his aides at Jammu Ashram including Bholanath who was in media limelight for his remarks 'graves of some children' at Jammu Ashram at Bhagwatinagar, sources said. |
