| DAK president gets permanent bail | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 31: A local court today granted permanent bail to president Doctors' Association of Kashmir (DAK), Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan in a case registered under Unlawful Activities Act against him by police last week.
Forest Magistrate Ranbir Singh Jasrotia made the bail absolute after hearing counsel for the doctor. Last week, the court had granted interim bail to the doctor following which he was released.
However, government placed him under suspension and the orders stand even as doctors staged protestsseeking revocation of the orders. |
