Jammu, May 31 : District unit of People Democratic Party (PDP) headed by Abdul Qayoom Dar has hailed the decision of party for appointing Yashpal Sharma MLC and a veteran leader from Poonch, as its general secretary.
Dar while appreciating the Mehbooba Mufti's (party president) decision, said that nominating Yashpal Sharma as General Secretary , who is known for his pro-poor policies and honesty , will further strengthen party in Jammu Province.
Yash Pal Sharma has played a major role in increasing the PDP's vote share in Jammu province in the recently held Lok Sabha polls.
Other senior PDP leaders who hailed the decision of Party high command include Advocate Ch Qammar Hussain, Munshi Aalam din, Master Iqbal Shah A B Shah, Shahzad Khan, AG Kohli, Haider Aatish, Master Prem sharma, Meer Hussain, Manzoor Shah, Haq Nawaz Mirza, Ahsan Mirza and others. |
