Soz holds day long interaction with block presidents

Srinagar, May 31: Prof. Saifuddin Soz President Pradesh Congress Committee today held day long interaction with the Block Presidents and Senior functionaries of the party from twin districts Rajouri and Poonch here today at Rajouri. According to a statement issued to, Prof Soz reviewed the overall functioning of the organization and the performance of the party during the recently concluded parliamentary elections.
Those who were accompanied him Thakur Hari Singh-Vice President PCC, Ravinder Sharma-(MLC) Chief Spokesperson PCC; Th. Puran Singh-(Former Minister); Ch. Bashir Ahmed Naaz-(Vice Chairman Gujjar & Bakerwal Board); Shabir Ahmed Khan-(MLA), Indu Pawar-(MLA) President State Mahila Congress; Ch. Sain Rashid-(General Secretary PCC), Ashok Sharma-(Ex-MLA); Majid Khan; Master Tassaduq Hussian; Murtaza Khan and others. The grass root functionaries shared their experiences and difficulties with the president and put forth their suggestions for strengthening the organization and need to improve the governance in order to come up the expectations of the people. The party functionaries emphasized that the party ministers should undertake extensive touring of different areas in consultation with the party functionaries at the block level. They also pointed out that the party units of the grass root level should be reconstituted wherever required and dedicated and honest workers should be given the responsibility to gear up the activities of the organization.
They also shared their views and experience about the coalition and also suggested the future course in this regard. About 50 workers/leaders spoke during day. Prof. Soz while concluding the discussions thanked the party workers of Rajouri and Poonch for their hard work during the recent Lok Sabha elections as a result the Congress has secured large number of votes in most of the constituencies in their districts.
