Jammu, May 31: Crime Branch (CB) Jammu today produced challan against accused Imran Khan of Ameera Nagar Domail, Bhaderwah for his involvement in hoarding and profiteering before Court of Sub Judge, Bhaderwah here toady. According to spokesperson, Imran Khan son of Ghulam Abaas Khan of Ameera Nagar Domail, Bhaderwah was booked in case FIR No 213/2009 u/s 3/7 E.C Act with Police Station Bhaderwah after he was found indulging in illegal purchase and filling of Kerosene oil in his vehicle Matador with regd no 0973/JK06. "Police seized 265 liters of Kerosene oil filled in 11 jerry canes and three gallons, the crime branch spokesperson said further adding, "during questioning, the accused told police that he procured Kerosene oil from some CRPF official's whom he does not know and cannot identify them."
"An instant case was transferred to Crime Branch Jammu for further investigation, the statement added. Crime Branch Jammu, based on FLS report, seizure memos, statement of witnesses, produced challan against him. |
