Kathua, June 17: District Congress Committee (DCC) Kathua condoled the sad demise of Choudhary Mohammad Aslam Leader of Congress Legislature party.
As per press release, two minute silence was observed. While paying tribute Subash Gupta Ex MLC, President DCC, Kathua described him a dedicated sincere soldier of the Congress Party. He said Aslam his whole life have served the people especially to poor and down trodden. Choudhary Mohammad Aslam presently was the leader of Congress Legislature Party and former PCC, Chief, and also holding various important assignments in the Government as well as in the party. He has also remained a former Minster and Member Parliament, and presently representing Assembly Segment of Surankot. His death has caused a huge loss to the Party as well as people of J&K. Gupta prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. Prominent among other who p[aid tribute are Manohar Singh, Master Lal Chand Sharma, Naresh Sharma, Subash Sharma Advocate, Bhupinder Singh, Kewal Sharma, Pawan Sharma, Ravinder Singh Nittu and Harbans Singh. |
