AITUC submits memorandum to Minister for Labour 6/17/2014 11:55:43 PM Jammu, June 17: A deputation of State AITUC J&K headed by State General Secretary All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), S K Sharma called on Minister for Labour Ajay Sadhotra at Srinagar and submitted a memorandum to him. During the interaction the deputation urged the Labour Minister for opening of a Sub-Office of central EPFO organization at Jammu which presently is located at Arnritsar. Deputationists apprised Minister that state unit of AITUC has already taken up the matter with Commissioner EPFO New Delhi for opening a Sub-Office at Jammu keeping in view the Strength of the employees both Pvt /Public Sector in J&K. Deputation also met the CPM (M) legislative Assembly member M Y Targami and apprised him about the ongoing situation of labour classes across the state and also discussed present Political scenario of the J&K State with him. Tarigami laid stress for ' cohesive efforts of labour classes for meeting of the challenges coming a head while assuring that he will make his personal efforts with labour Minister forgetting infrastructure for opening Df EPFO Sub-Office at Jammu.
