| Police Raising Day celebrations enthusiasm grips whole Rajouri district | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, June 17: As a part of Police Raising Day Celebrations, a number of different programmes were today held across border district Rajouri by the police organization in which all ranks and files participated enthusiastically. In a main programme Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajouri, Mubassir Latifi today held interaction with families of police martyr's and retired police personnel in district police lines Rajouri in which more than retired police personnel and about 60 families of police martyrs participated. Addressing in the meeting after giving a patient hearing to the issues put by the participant , SP Rajouri said that retired police personnel and families of police martyr's are members of police parivar and J&K police is committed to redress their grievances on priority. Shiv Kumar Chouhan, Addl SP Rajouri, Hameed Choudhary, Dy SP Hqrs Rajouri and Naresh Chib, Dy SP DAR also were present in this meeting. In another programme to mark Police raising day, an anti-drugs awareness seminar was held in Thanamandi under the supervision of SDPO Surjeet Bhagat and DySP Mehraj Raina in which large number of students from the area participated. The participants were awarded prizes and ceretificates of appreciation by the police administration. Yet in another activity as a part of programme, a seminar on drugs was held in Kalakote area wherein SDPO Nowshera PS Gauria was chief guest while DySP Sheikh Mudassir and SHO Kalakote Vikram Parihar along with other police officers and senior citizens were present on the occasion. Students of the area participated in the seminar while Jan Jagran Manch, Kalakote presented skit over drugs menace. Another anti-drugs debate competition and rally on traffic chaos was held in Manjakote in which AdSP Shiv Kumar Singh and DySP Owais Wani and other senior officers of police were present. In another police familiarization programme, students of Govt Budhal College visited police station Budhal where a mock Police station was organized by the students under the supervision of police officials. Speaking on different occasion Police officers including SDPO Surjeet Bhagat, SDPO Pardeep Gauria, DySP Sameer Dar and other said that Jammu and Kashmir police is undertaking all such steps by which peaceful atmosphere remains in the area and crime incidents are brought to minimum. |
