Jammu, Aug 5: A strong protest demonstration was held by NSUI outside Jammu University gate condemning attack on youth Congress general secretary R S Pathania. Speaking to the media, Neeraj Kundan, State President of NSUI J&K said that NSUI will not tolerate attacks on Congress office bearers, youth & student community and will take up the issue to the higher level in the party and the government. Condemning the attack, he added that these types of activities are not acceptable to the NSUI and it will not sit silent on the matter. Kundan urged higher police authorities to take action against all the culprits involved in the attack.
He added that the attack on a youth leader is attack on the party and he, being the state president of NSUI, will bring this matter to the notice of high command as well. Others who were present in the protest included Kamal Magotra, Avjyot Singh, state gen. secretaries, Nishant Gupta, Ranjodh Singh, Abhishek Dogra, State Secretary, District President Jammu Sunny Parihar and others. |
