| Beware of communal forces: JKPCC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 5: General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Pardesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vinod Sharma has cautioned the people of Jammu and Kashmir to beware from the communal and divisive forces and maintain traditional brotherhood at any cost.
Sharma was speaking in a meeting of Congress workers at Sarwal, today. Besides congress workers the meeting was also attended by eminent personalities and senior citizens of Jammu West Assembly Constituency.
He said that certain forces are out to destabilize the communal harmony and traditional brotherhood for their vested interests.
They raise such controversies whenever elections approach in the state and thereafter go for hibernation. But the Congress party believes on development and welfare of people.
"The State of Jammu and Kashmir had witnessed massive development in every sphere of life during the Congress led Govt. headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad but it did not digest to the negative forces and they exploited the people on the name of region and religion.
Now again when the elections are round the corner, such elements are raising their ugly head but this time people of the state are conscious enough and will not allow such forces to succeed in their nefarious designs', he said. |
