Moti Bazaar Businessmen Society calls on SSP Jammu

Jammu, Aug 5: A deputation of the Moti Bazaar Businessmen Society today called on SSP Jammu Uttam Chand and apprised him about the various problems being faced by them.
Led by its president of the society S Hardeep Singh, the members highlighted the problem of traffic jam in entire Moti Bazaar and uneven parking by the people who were visiting the area.
They mentioned that Moti Bazaar is one of the busiest place of old Jammu city and thousands of the people visiting Sabzi Mandi, traditional Hamuman Mandir, Gurudwara every day caused severe traffic jam in entire area. They also said that many times they approached concerned authority for the maintenance of traffic in the area but till date nothing concrete response they got from them. They apprised that members of the society and shopkeepers tried to maintain proper traffic management in the area but due to the non-presence of proper police personal the people not bothered.
They also highlighted the load carrier auto and commerce auto drivers also created traffic problems in peak hours. Many times, society asked load carrier auto drivers to unload or load goods early morning or late evening when there is no rush of the people in the areas but all in vain as they too least bothered and created traffic problem in the area in peak hours. They demanded deployment of some police personnel in Moti Bazaar area to lessen this problem. The members of the society assured SSP Jammu that the society will full cooperate with the people in maintaining law and order in the entire level. SSP Jammu Uttam Chand gave patience hearing the members of the society and assured them that he will personally visit Moti Bazaar areas and will take concrete possible step to solve such problems soon.
The delegation comprised of Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Kewel Krishan, Surinder Pandoh, Krishan Lal, Kulvinder Singh, Rahul Gupta , Inder Singh and others.
