| HC serves notice to Nodal Officer for filling reply 'Contempt' charges | | | | Jammu, Aug 5: In a contempt petition filed by Renu Gupta & others for implementation of High Court direction to continue them as Contractual lecturers, leveling serious allegations of corruption against Nodal Officer Prof Nutan Resutra (Principal GGM Science College Jammu), J&K High Court Jammu Wing issued notice to Nodal officer for filling reply before August 8. Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv Dinesh Singh Chouhan appearing for the petitioners, issued notice to Nutuan Resotra for filling reply before August 8. In the petition, the petitioners have leveled serious allegations of allegedly demanding money Nutuan Rasutra. The petitioners have submitted to the court that Nutuan Resotra said: "I am well aware about the working of High Court. I will advice all of you not to run after the lawyers, who are misleading you but instead come to us." He further, demanded an amount of Rs. 20, 000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) each Petitioner to get implementation of ad-interim directions as he has to pay money to Minister for Higher Education in view of his contesting the next Assembly Elections."
