Jammu, Aug 5: Scores of consolidated Safai Karamchari under the banner of All Consolidated Safai Karamchari Association continued their fast unto death outside office of Directorate of Health Services, demanding release of pending wages. The members of association complained that they have not been paid their wages for last two years despite approaching at a number of times.
They said that their deputation had earlier met Director Health Services Jammu Dr Baljit Pathania but of no avail. Addressing the employees, Sushil Sudan, President Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation assured full support from the Federation. The employees who sat on fast unto death included Abdul Gani, Ashok Kumar, Mohd Kabir and Mool Raj. |
