| 1042 safaikaramcharis regularised | | | Jammu, Sept 2 : The Housing and Urban Development Department under the Ministry of Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, J&K government, has taken a lead in the regularisation of 1042 safaikaramcharis.
They were regularised vide government order No 258-HUD of 2014 dated 30.8.2014. All of them are working in Urban Local Body Institutions of the state. 548 of them were regularised in Jammu Division and 494 in Kashmir Division against the available vacant posts of safaikarmcharies who have completed seven or more years of regular services.
The Administrative Department has directed to complete the exercise for issuance of regularization orders which will be delivered to the concerned safaikarmchari through the Minister Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies and Minister of State Housing and Urban Development Department. The Safaikarmchari Unions of Jammu province met the Director Urban Local Bodies, Jammu and extended thanks to the chief minister, Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies and Minister of State for Housing & Urban Development Department, Secretary to Government Housing & Urban Development Department and Director Urban Local Bodies, Jammu for taking the decision to fulfil the long pending demand for the regularization of the safaikarmcharies. |
