Favouritsim still roosts in 'Khakhi', non performer offered privileged 'posting'

Jammu, Sept 17: Continuing to favouristism and nepotism the authorities at the helms of affairs setting another example of favouritism awarded a prized posting to SHO Gandhi Nagar Manzoor Ahmed Kohli despite his being failing to put curb on organized crime in area falling under his jurisdiction.
Not only the men in Khakhi but the civilians also got surprised when the SMSs and Whatsapp their inbox highlighted the message about the transfers in Police department making special mention of posting of one SHO from one prized posting i.e. from Gandhinagar to another privileged posting Bus Stand yet he is one among non-performers as he has utterly failed to put a curb on the crime in his jurisdiction.
Despite the fact that the police department which doesn't fall under the ambit of General Administration Department, but taking the cognizance of the rampant transfers in the department GAD copy the order to the Director General of police (DGP) for compliance.
SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand transferred and posted Inspector Manzoor Ahmed Kohli as new SHO of Bus Stand police station but the order was kept in abeyance by General Administration Department (GAD).
As per police sources, last night three masked men carrying pistol and sharp edged weapons entered Novelty Wine Shop owned by Pawan Verma at Gandhi Nagar while he was closing the shop.
The accused allegedly thrashed the salesman of the shop, looted Rs 20,000 cash and managed to escape from the spot. The incident was reported to Gandhi Nagar Police Station, where a case under relevant Sections was registered and manhunt launched to nab the robbers. However, after police has failed to arrest the robbers till late tonight.

Apart from this so many snatching cases, theft cases and other cases of organized crime are still pending in the police station Gandhi Nagar.
