| BJP goons close to State President harassing ET journo, DIG assures action | | | Early Times Report
SUNDERBANI, Nov 22: BJP's over exaggerated mission 44+ still far from accomplished, its workers have started bulldozing themselves on those ideologically opposed to them, threatening even the journalists of dire consequences.
Some BJP workers of Sunderbani tehsil brandishing their close allegiance to State President and Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma are threatening ET scribe of dire consequences solely for the reason that this journo's family members are not BJP loyalist.
On the intervening night of November 5, 2014, vehicle of ET scribe was intercepted near the house of an Ex-Sarpanch-Mohan Lal, who is close to BJP President Jugal Kishore Sharma and was attacked by a BJP worker Davinder Kumar along with 9 other persons of the village on the direction of former BJP Sarpanch Mohan Lal.
They shouted that they wanted "revenge" for voting in favour of NC by his family members in the elections held for the dealership of Ration Depot some months back.
On the next day, these BJP workers lodged FIR number 71/2014 dated 6-11-2014 against ET scribe. Later in his statement to SHO Sunderbani, ET scribe narrated the facts following which ET scribe was assured action against the intimidators by SHO as well as DIG AK Atri when the matter was brought to his notice.
ET scribe also complained contesting BJP candidate from Sunderbani-Ravinder Raina who also assured action against the accused after verification of facts.
Early Times scribe as well his family members are insecure as he is getting intimidating calls from the BJP workers about his fake implication in rape case. |
