POONCH, Jan 15: Power House Hockey Club outplayed Stadium Orange XI in the final of sub-junior boys' category in the District Hockey Championship held under the banner of Hockey Poonch here today. The Poonch House made it a superb 3-0 win. Ijaz, Shaid and Vishal scored the goals in the fifth, 15th and 45th minute of the match respectively. In the final, Superintending Engineer, PWD, Gurmeet Singh was chief guest, who interacted with the finalist teams and encouraged the young and budding players.
Also present were TP Singh (AEE ), SC Basnotra (AEE) , PK Abrol (AE), Nirdosh Kumar, Ravinder Singh and Mustaq Ahmed. |
