JAMMU, Jan 15: Wrestler Kaka of RS Pura today lifted the 115th annual Panthal Kesari dangal title beating Amrit Paul of Goal Bagh Stadium, Amritsar in Punjab in the main bout that took place that took place at Panthal in district Reasi. Winner Kaka presented with a cash prize of Rs 12,000 by the chief guest, Vice Chancellor of SMVDU, Sudhir Kumar Jain. He was accompanied by SDPO Katra, Ravel Singh Choudhary and treasurer of Indian Style Wrestling Association of Indian, Shiv Kumar Sharma. Runners-up, Amrit Paul received Rs 9,000 prize from Executive Engineer of SMVDSB Parkash Tanoach. In all, 37 bouts took place in the day-long dangal. In the second main bout, Gurmail of BSF beat Kulbir Singh of Kot Bhawal while third bout played between Roshan Lal Sharma of J&K Police and Basant of Amritsar, ended in a draw. Members and technical officials who helped in the smooth conduct of this dangal included Pritham Magotra (president), Parsotam Kumar Mengi, Parsotam Kumar Khajuria (Bittu), Mukesh Khajuria, Om Parkash Sanmotra, Retd. Master Ajit Kumar, Brijesh Khajuria, Mohd. Fareed, Virender Sharma, Lochan Singh, Mohd. Abdul, Om Parkash Verma, Vijay Singh (Viju), Murli Dhar (Muna) and Raj Hussian. Other Results: Gopal Sharma of Jindrah beat Dinu of Domana Akhara; Liakat Ali of Panthal beat Babba of Amritsar; Pritam Singh of Reasi beat Likiyat Ali of Mallerkotla; Muneer Khan of Domana Akhara beat Chand Fougi of Harayana; Teg Ali of Mallerkotla beat Rajesh Sharma of Jindarh of J&K Police; Jasvir Fougi of Harayana beat Sujjan Ali (Balli) of Jammu; Bobari of Sarore beat Jaswant of Mallerkotla; Basant of Amritsar beat Murad Ali of Domana.
