Bhaderwah, Jan 15: Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) organised a free medical camp for local masses of tehsil Bhadarwah on the occasion of Army Day 2015, as part of humanitarian assistance programme at Ghati Morh Bhadarwah. According to press release, the camp was inaugurated by Second-in-Command of Rashtriya Rifles who assured the locals of unconditional and everlasting support of Army to the locals. A medical team comprising of one Army doctor and one civil doctor from PHC, Chinta provided the much needed specialised medical cover to the ladies, children and elderly people during the camp. A large number of patients turned up for the free medical check-up from the nearby villages to include Ghati, Draddu, Dhamoli, Chinta, Darbbi & Bachh. This medical camp was organised by making necessary arrangements of various types of medicines, medical equipment and facilities for examination of patients. Wide publicity was given to ensure that maximum people avail the opportunity of attending the free medical camp. During the camp a total of 215 patients were treated which included 102 ladies, 87 gents and 26 children. |
