| Aspirants suspect selection list, demand inquiry | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 15: Aspirants of Lab. Technician under National Urban Health Mission, NUHM today staged a protest demonstration here at Kathua and pointed out selection list being released against 3 vacant posts. Gourav Verma, an aspirant while interacting to media, said that 14 candidates appeared in interview for the post of Lab. Asstt falling under Urban Health Mission meant for candidates hailing from urban areas but surprisingly 2 out of 3 selected candidates belonged to rural areas.
He said that candidates hailing from urban areas are usually denied to apply against the posts meant for rural areas and asked how candidates hailing from rural areas could apply for post meant for urban areas. He threatened to challenge the select list in court to seek justice and prejudiced attitude of the selection panel.
Dr Iqbal Choudhary, DDC Kathua informed that a deputation approached him to highlight the matter. He ensured to intervene the matter and justice will be given to deserving candidates as per NUHM guidelines for recruitment. |
