JKTWA, GLTF hail detachment of teachers, masters | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 15: Hailing the government order issued regarding detachment of teachers, masters and lecturers, the J&K Teacher's Welfare Association (JKTWA) said that the step would have a great impact and the studies in schools located in far- flung areas would get a major boost. State President JKTWA, Jasmeet Singh Madaan said that the Government Order No 08 of 2015 issued by the Commissioner/ Secretary, Education detaching all teachers will improve the working of education sector since many influential persons have got the posting of their nears & dears attached/ deployed at their choicest schools since years. He, however, cautioned not to detach those who have completed their tenure in far flung areas and are waiting their suitable adjustment since long. Jasmeet also thanked Governor, N N Vohra for taking special interest in cleansing education department and to streamline derailed education scenario by initiating several measures and the recent order is the beginning in this direction. He urged the Governor, Commissioner/ Secretary & Director, School Education to adjust all the attached Masters/ Lecturers who have completed their tenure in far off villages and are waiting for their proper adjustment and are presently attached in many schools since long besides the disbursement of timely pay. Meanwhile, General Line Teachers Forum (GLTF) also welcomed the order of the Commissioner / Secretary School Education for cancellation of attachments / deployments of teachers / Masters / Lecturers in various Schools. The President of the forum Neeraj Sharma said that forum thank the Commissioner / Secretary and expressed that similar corrective measures for school system would be initiated by the higher authorities. |
