| "Clean RS Pura-Green RS Pura": Dr Gagan Bhagat | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 15: MLA R S Pura Dr Gagan Bhagat today attended environment awareness programme organized at Government City Middle School, Ward No 6 R S Pura by the NGO World Wild Federation. Dr Gagan Bhagat stressed on Environment protection and gave the slogan "Clean RS Pura-Green RS Pura" while addressing a galaxy of students, teachers and general public said that plantation drive at RS Pura will be started very soon in collaboration with government authorities and several NGOs and all the government offices and public places will be covered.
He asked students to take interest in environment protection and take initiative to create healthy environment. He once again emphasized on using LED instead of bulb and save electricity. He asked the school management to focus on "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" and organize seminars,skits and awareness camps among the staff, students and general public. Meritorious students were also felicitated with rewards. Later on, while interacting with the media Dr Gagan Bhagat told that such environment awareness programmer will be organize on regular basis in his constituency. |
