Jammu, Jan 15: Police today claimed to have cracked burglaries five burglary cases and arrest two burglars.
Police sources said that following the increasing burglaries in the Jammu west area, a special team was constituted head by SP North Shiv Dev Singh SDPO West Shri Ram, SHO Bakshi Nagar Dalip Singh, SHO Nowabad Karan Chalotra, in-charge police post Sarwal Balram Sharma, in-charge police post Parade Rahul Mahajan and in-charge police GMC Gurvinder Singh. Police spokesman said that during investigation team detained two suspects who during questioning spell beans and confess involvement in five burglaries.
Police identified the arrested burglars as Sukhvinder Singh alias Sibhu of Resham Ghar and Vinod Kumar alias Toka of Patoli Brahmana.
Police recovered 3.5 kg silver along with a piece of diamond on their disclosures and further investigation is in progress. |
