MENDHAR, Jan 15: Field Publicity (DFP) Units of Poonch and Chadoora, Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India organised a day-long special outreach programme at Mendhar.
The objective of the event was to highlight nationwide schemes launched by Central Government namely Pardhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojna, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Abhiyan and other people friendly schemes.
Aziz Sarpanch, Ari Mendhar was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Sarfaraz Ali from J&K Bank, Mendhar and Ms Tajunisa Kazmi, APO, ICDS, Poonch were the resource persons who delivered lectures informing the audience about these nationwide schemes.
Earlier Vishal Khajuria, In-charge Field Publicity Unit, Poonch briefed the gathering about the aims and objectives of these national programmes and urged people to avail maximum benefits from such schemes. A quiz competition was also organized to make people aware about these schemes.
The programme concluded with a prize distribution function and a rally of students. |
