DDC takes stock of essential services in Doda | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Feb 3 : In the aftermath of heavy snowfall in the district, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bhupinder Kumar today convened meeting of district officers and revived the supply a essential commodities in Doda. According to press release, Superintendent of Police Z.N Manhas, Programme officer ICDS Surat Singh, Assistant commissioner Revenue Vaibhav Kholi, Assistant Commissioner Development Dhananter Singh among other officers of Civil Administration and Engineering Departments participated in the meeting. Kumar further directed all the concerned Departments to activated their manpower and machinery and ensure that there is no disruption of Essential services, Food grains Power supply, Water supply, health care services due to rains and snowfall in the District besides directions were also conveyed to XEn PMGSY and XEn PWD(R&B) of all the divisions of the District and other executing agencies to ensure that roads connecting the headquarters with remote areas remain open and landslides ,snow if any may be cleared in shortest possible time so that people could transport essential commodities without any difficulties. Meanwhile, addressing the media persons, he said that all the issues raised by them are seriously noted by him and the directions will be passed to all the quarters for doing the required. Regarding supply of essential commodities during this winter season especially in wake of heavy snow fall and rains ,he said that the directions have been already passed to the Assistant Director CA&PD to ensure the sufficient stock of essential commodities at PDS stores in all the parts of the district. |
