Doda, Feb 6: Resented over non-fulfillment of their long pending demands, the Jammu and Kashmir National Trade Union Front (JKNTUF) is mulling to hold protest on February 9 to press the authorities. According to press release, District president JKNTUF Doda Com Barket Ali said that the government has failed to fulfill the long pending demands of the employees and there is no other option than to protest. "A massive protest is being held on February 9 to press upon the authorities so as to consider the main demands on priority", he said, adding that the major demands listed by the trade union include Regularization Policy for Casual Lab ours of all departments and immediate regularization orders of leftover DRWs under SRO64. "Release of 17% two due DA installments without further delay, release of pending wages of need based casual lab our of the various departments including Anganwadi Workers and helpers of ICD and Seniority of helpers of Social Forestry by fixed from the date they were regularized as helpers", he demanded. He accompanied by other leaders of the union including Jagdish Singh, Saleem Wani, Nazir Ahmed Zargar Kewal and Mohd Ashraf. |
