AISF lambasts Govt for new recruitment ordinance

Jammu, May 16: All India Students Federation (AISF) J&K state Council lambasted the State government and Education Department over the different issues of the student community on which the State government has failed to address the genuine grievances.
Addressing media persons, Mukesh Parihar raised different issues including increase in the number of regular seats in Jammu University and arrangement of adequate staff in rural Schools and Colleges. Besides this they also opposed the new move of State government over new recruitment ordinance 2015 and the new pattern started by Jammu University in JUET examination.
"In J&K 3.7 lakh students who are differently-a bled have been deprived of basic education out of which 24,879 are mentally retarded thereby violating Article 29 & 30 according to which every child of age between 6-14 is entitled to get basic education, " he added.
He also said, in earlier to this AISF delegation led by National general secretary Vishwajeet Kumar and State President Mukesh Parihar met with Vice Chancellor University of Jammu Prof. RD Sharma and Director School education Simranpreet Singh and raised the different issues of the student community.
