Powerless, ex-BJP mantris become accessible to workers | | | ET Report jammu, Jan 18: After being stripping off their ministerial status, ex-BJP ministers in the Mufti Mohammad Sayeed led previous coalition regime, have now become accessible to the workers because they are now forced to attend parties rallies. The now "accessible ex-ministers" have suggested power-brokers and business lobbies, who always followed them as their shadows before January 7, to go in the hibernation for quite some time. These days the ex-ministers are rubbing shoulders with village level workers and interacting with them as they used to do before March 1, 2015. The party leadership has asked these ex-ministers to participate in the rallies being organised to highlight achievements of the Union Government. During the quite some time these ex-BJP ministers have apparently become puppet in the hands of power brokers and business lobbies. These lobbies were not only guiding inexperienced BJP leaders but they were also influenced many policy decisions taken by the ministries held by BJP ministers. Fearing that their relations with these power brokers would be exposed in public so the former BJP ministers have asked their mentors to hide for the quite some. These ex-BJP ministers are very aware that after formation of the new government they will also be become inaccessible due to security reason and only then these influential power brokers will come out of the hibernation to again guide them. After attaining power in March 1, 2015, most of the ex-BJP ministers have become inaccessible to the workers who had worked to ensure their victory. It is perceived that ex-BJP ministers had become inaccessible because power brokers had asked them to do the same if they wanted to establish them in the power politics. |
