| MLA, DDC flag off CCDU bus | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Mar 20: In order to celebrate water sanitation week in the district, PHE department on the behalf of Communication and Capacity Development Unit (CCDU) J&K organized a special ceremony here today in which MLA Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh and District Development Commissioner Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar showed green flag to the bus which shall be driven in the different villages for next four days.
The flagging off ceremony was also attended by ADC, Babu Ram, CPO Parshotam Kumar, Xen PHE and Hyd, Hamesh Manchanda, Chief Medical Officer, Assistant Director Planning, engineers and various other district officers and officials. Speaking on the occasion, DDC exhorted upon the field staff to show full cooperation by leading the water testing team to all fresh and drinking water resources to ensure safety and disease free health of people.
Earlier, Xen PHE informed that the touring bus is equipped with water testing kits and experts who will make the people aware by testing the drinking water and also spread awareness about the various techniques used for making the drinking water fit for common use. |
