RAMBAN, Mar 20: A one day long camp was organized for the field functionaries of Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) by District Information Centre at Village Govindpura here today.
The camp was attended by District Programme Officer (DPO), Ashok Pandita, District Social Welafre Officer (DSWO), Varunjeet Charak , tehsil officers, supervisors, Anganwadi workers, helpers and children.
Guest lecture were delivered by the experts on the topics of malnutrition, infant mortality, breast feeding practices, better child care techniques and benefits of colostrum. DPO appreciated the efforts of information department for organising camp in which field functionaries were made well aware about the contemporary issues of the ICDS. |
