JAMMU, Dec 21: The controversial director college Development, Jammu University, is likely to be parachuted at Central University of Jammu.
Once ineligible for the post of Controller of Examination (COE), Jai Kumar has become eligible for three posts including COE.
According to sources, the CUJ had earlier also invited applications for the post of COE and Finance Officer. "Jai Kumar applied for both posts, but he was found ineligible ", sources in administration told Early Times, adding that it seems, to accommodate 'blue eyed' the rules are being altered.
"According university's communiqué (No. CUJ/Admin/I-12/3/2016/10607, dated 22nd of November, 2016), Jai Kumar stands eligible for the three posts", the sources said. They said the unexpected appearance of Jai Kumar in list of eligible candidates, smells something fishy.
"He is seventh in the list of eligible candidates for the post of Registrar, number one for the post of Finance Officer while number eight for the post of COE", said sources, adding that interview for all three posts were held between December 5 and 6.
"Interview schedule was also tailor-made for the blue eyed candidate", said sources, adding that interview for the post of Registrar would be held on December 24 at 9:30 a.m. at Temporary Academic Block (TAB) Sainik Colony.
"Same day (December 24) interview for the post of Finance Officer will be held at 2:30 pm. at same place, while interview for the post of COE will be held on December 25 at 9:30 a.m.", they said. |
