Broken promises root cause of Kashmir problem: AAP
2/15/2018 10:15:41 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 15: Reacting on the recent past statements of different political parties to pick the fishes in the troubled water, AAP, Activists, J&K, Jammu in a statement issued here said that the root cause of Kashmir problems lies in the context of broken promises of successive central Governments made with the people of the state e.g; commitments made in Delhi Agreement 1953 "something has to be given to the people of J&K", never saw the day of the light till date. And thereafter, the most glaring turning came in 1987 when massive riggings in Assembly elections sealed the fate of about 19 "Muslim United Front" leaders by declaring them defeated willfully & who then vowed to "grab by bullet what cannot be had by ballots", who later crossed over to Pakistan & since inflicted multiple injuries to the country. Whose creation is this? And now both NC, PDP & Congress are harping on bringing normalcy in the state through talks with Pak & Hurriat Conference. What sort of talk? Can anyone afford to give Kashmir to them on platter? Why such a hypocrisy? Why to befool the masses though 70 years have already passed?
