Book release function organized, Zindgi te Shayri written by Khamosh Kreeri released

baramulla, Feb 15: A book of Khamosh Kreeri, Zindgi te Shayri (Life and poetry) was released by cultural forum Chukar Pattan, in which many scholars, poets, educations and intellectuals participated.
Cultural Forum Chukar Pattan today organized a book release function in which they released a book entitled, 'Zindgi te Shayri (Life and Poetry) aspects of Late Syed Abdul Jabbar @ Khamosh Kreeri.
Eminent Educationist and Editor-in Chief, Rising Kashmir, Prof Syed Rafi-ud Din Bukhari, was the guest of honour, the function was presided by Mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq, Syed Maqbool Bukhari the younger son of Khamosh Kreeri gave welcome address and read the paper of the book.
The function was attended by a galaxy of writers and scholars including writer Syed Saud ud-din Saudi, Ab Rashid Shahbaz, Mushtaq Ahmad Tantray (Director News) Prof Abdul Jabbar, ( Syed Abdul Haq, Syed Shamsu-ud Din, Syed Mohammad Maqbool Bukhari- sons of Khamosh Kreeri). Aijaz Qadri, SDM Tangmarag, Thesildar Karhama Sheikh Tariq, Ab Aziz Betab, Siraj-ud Din Masoodi and others.
After the book release function, Mehfil-e Mushaira was organized by the cultural forum. The poets on the occasion lauded the role of Khamosh Kreeri who spent his life in promoting socio-literary activities in the state through his writing.
