Shiksha Niketan School conducts Rangoli Competition

Jammu, Feb 17: In order to complement the "Co- Curricular Activities" and groom the inherent talent of students Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar conducts a number of activities from time to time to enhance the general ability, Logic and reasoning among its students.
"A Rangoli Making Competition" and "Clay Modeling" for Class 5th and 6th Students on the theme "Save Girl Child" was organised with an objective of building awareness among school students regarding priority and attention on the survival, protection and well being of a girl child.
Four students from each section were selected for this competition, which was organised and conducted under the guidance of experienced and skillful teachers which was reflected during the course of the competition.
The judging criteria were based on Symmetry, Colour Combination, Creative and the neatness as well as the theme presentation of the Rangoli. The judges gave their collective verdict announcing the toppers as per their achievements in this Rangoli Competition and First, Second and Third Position were bagged by 5th E, 5th G and 5th D, 5th A and 5th F respectively and Clay Modeling Competition of class 6th. Students of 6th G bagged first position, 6th D bagged second position and 6th E bagged third position.
The Principal Rameshwar Mengi appreciated the efforts of all the participating students in general and the Top- Rankers in particular. He also praised all the expert teachers who had put in their best dedicated efforts expose the inherent- talent among the Students.
